Literacy Lab
The Literacy Lab is a collaborative effort of the Little Rock School District and community leaders to empower children through early literacy skill building to help them meet grade-level reading goals.
Who: Little Rock School District Students, Grades 1-5
What: Volunteers will coordinate literacy skill-building activities and games to reinforce daily instruction time.
When: June 6 – July 1, 2022
Sessions will run Monday through Friday, with volunteer opportunities from 10am-11am or 11am-Noon.
Volunteers sign up for 5 hours of service in 1-week blocks.
Week 1: June 6–10
Week 2: June 13 –17
Week 3: June 20-24
Week 4: June 27-July 1
Training will be held late May. On-line and/or in-person training options will be available.
