Bobby Roberts and Donald Wood join AR Kids Read Board

AR Kids Read recently added two new members to its board—Bobby Roberts, the Library Director for the Central Arkansas Library System, and Donald Wood, the Executive Director of Arkansas Hospice Foundation.   The men are expected to make great contributions to the board as AR Kids Read expands to help more children in Central Arkansas

AR Kids Read in final weeks of tutor recruitment – over 350 signed up and more tutors needed

AR Kids Read tutors are being trained and will begin tutoring in over 40 elementary schools in the three Pulaski County school districts.  Over 350 tutors have registered to serve one hour a week helping second and third graders read at grade level.  “AR Kids Read Partner organizations are the key,” said Executive Director Charlie
